Port Authority High School, Chittagong, (earlier Port Trust High School) is a renowned prestigious educational institution established in 1959. Since its inception it has been spreading education almost free of cost over people who are in service in CPA and living its adjacent areas with dignity and fame. A no. of 23 scholar teachers are imparting education here in this institution. All out efforts have been taken under strict administration of CPA to ensure better education. This institution is directly controlled by CPA. Earlier it was a Co-educational institution known as Port Trust High School. In 1976 it became the Port Authority H/S. It is located beside the road near Chittagong. Bandar Bhavan and customs House.

• » An auditorium has just been built with modern equipments for facilitating the extra-curricular activities. It is also named as ‘‘Munshi Fazlur Rahman Auditorium, a former teacher of CPA High Shool to mark the sacrifice of his life during the liberation war.

A Competitive admission tests in generaly held for vi, vii, viii, & ix grades. 10% students from out siders other than the employee’s dependents having the availability of vacancies (seat capacity) qualify for admission in various classes.

The admission test usually held in the last week of december. Academic session begins at 1st january. Students get education under the national curriculum. The school begins at 7.45 am. and closes at 1.30 pm. The school Authority is very much keen about quality education and discipline. Student have to take part in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.

All students have to wear school uniform as designed by the school Authority.
